Democrat Sheila Ford for Texas State Representative

Thank You!

Photo of Sheila FordWhile we didn’t win this campaign, we moved the district closer to winning for someone in 2010. 23,102 voted for the Democratic candidate in House District 99, even more voted for President Elect Obama. Tarrant County elected Wendy Davis to the State Senate, and votes from HD-99 helped secure that victory!

I would especially like to recognize two precinct chairs that worked their precincts heavily, and the results are real. In 4497, Brenda Dunn worked her precinct and we won 729 to 486. Thanks for Getting Out the Vote! In 4252, Jeff Rodriguez and superstar activist Linda Foley worked theirs and moved their precinct to a much better Democratic performer. Great election day turnout for Democrats. We can repeat those results everywhere, but it takes precinct chairs and precinct captains. Sign-up today with the Tarrant County Democratic Party.

I am a strong and solid voice for everyday citizens. Right now, Texas needs improved schools and I will work with educators to bring quality education to our children. Well-educated people supply capable employees for our workforce. Capable employees build competitive businesses and competitive businesses mean a strong economy for our State. A strong economy for our State brings a higher standard of living to all of our families. Those are the real family values we need in our elected officials.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my campaign to represent the 99th District in the Texas House of Representatives.

Signed, Sheila Ford
